Life insurance premiums increase in China

riseThe China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) has published the results of the Chinese life insurance market for the first eleven months of 2020. Life premiums amounted to 3 100 billion CNY (471.268 billion USD), an increase of 7.4% compared to the same period last year.

Life assets amounted to 20 000 billion CNY (3 040 billion USD) that is 85.5% of the total market.

The Chinese government plans to adopt a series of measures to promote life insurance in the country.
