Pudential Financial to acquire Assurance IQ

Prudential FinancialThe American insurer Prudential Financial has acquired the online insurance platform Assurance IQ for an amount of 2.35 billion USD.

It is with the aim of expanding its underwriting base that Prudential took the control of Assurance IQ, an online insurtech marketing life and personal line risks. The latter sells the products of more than 20 insurers including Prudential.

Through this transaction, the U.S. insurer expects to save between 50 million and 100 million USD.
