The 2008 market forecasts

According to the Finance Minister, the insurance sector, which is experiencing a big growth, is due to report a turnover of 200 million USD in 2008.
The recent creation of the Syrian insurers association is likely to contribute to a better regulation of the market whose liberalisation process has come to a close with 14 companies being licensed.
