2016 results of the Tunisian market

According to the figures published by the general insurance committee (CGA), the Tunisian market generated a turnover of 1 836.4 million TND (801.4 million USD) in 2016, up by 9% compared to 1 678.3 million TND (830.1 million USD) of 2015.

With 20.5% of the sales, that is 375.6 million TND(163.9 million USD), life insurance grew by 25% in the previous year.

In non life, the motor class accounted for 45.5% of the market, followed by miscellaneous accident (20.6%) and fire (8.8%) insurance.
