AIA increases its shareholding in Tata AIA Life

According to the group AIA, its share in the capital of the insurance company Tata AIA Life will be raised from 26% to 49%, a move subject to the approval of the authorities. Tata AIA Life Insurance Company is a joint-venture made up of Tata Sons and AIA. Tata AIA Life started out its operations in 2001, specializing in the life and pension classes of business.
