AM Best confirms the rating of Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance

AM Best confirms the financial strength rating B+ (good) and long-term credit rating bbb+ of Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR Algeria). The outlook for both ratings is stable.

Such rating reflects the financial strength of the Algerian reinsurer's balance sheet, good operational performance, neutral business profile and an effective enterprise risk management.

CCR has recorded a 50% net income increase over the last five years (2015-2019). The average combined ratio stands at 82.8% and the return on equity (ROE) was set at 12.2% during the period under review.
