Colombia: Crash of a plane carrying a Brazilian football team

On November 28, 2016, a plane carrying the Brazilian football team "Chapecoense" crashed near the city of Medellin in Colombia. 81 people were on board, including 9 crew members.

According to authorities, only five people survived the crash among them three players from Chapecoense. The survivors were hospitalized for serious injuries.
