Cote d'Ivoire: Brokers in seminar

Côte d’Ivoire counts 166 insurance brokers having officially obtained license from the ministry of economy and finance. Some of them are not able to submit their financial statements in accordance with the deadlines set by the authorities.

In order to offset this failure, the regulators hosted a training seminar from October 3 to 7 and from October 10 to 14, 2016 during which a review of the profession’s obligations and good practices was highlighted. These training sessions are designed to offset brokers’ accounting shortcomings.
