Egypt: booming engineering insurance

According to Abdel Raouf Kotb, chairman of the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE), engineering underwritings have reported an increase of more than 20% in the course of the recent four years. By the end of 2012, the premium volume was set at 626 million EGP (103 million USD), compared to 774 million EGP (101 million USD) in June 2015.
