FMRE Botswana: GCR rating in Ethiopia and Uganda

FMRE Property & Casualty Botswana has been awarded a national “AAA” financial strength rating by the African agency GCR Ratings for its operations in Ethiopia and Uganda. The outlook is stable.

The rating reflects the reinsurer's adequate risk-adjusted capitalization, sound liquidity position and excellent underwriting performance.

The AAA rating in Uganda and Ethiopia marks an important step in FMRE Botswana's expanding presence in East Africa.
