France: SCOR expands its presence in India

The French reinsurer SCOR received on November 8, 2016, an approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India(IRDAI) for opening a composite (life and non-life) branch office in India.
The new company will begin operations on April 1, 2017.

As a reminder, the French reinsurer has been underwriting business in India since 1973 where it had already established a liaison office in 2005.
