Hannover Re is expecting good results in 2016

Hannover Re posted a net profit of 304 million EUR (341.2 million USD) by the third quarter of 2016, an increase of 20% compared to the same period in 2015.

The German reinsurer is planning to generate, by the end of the current year, a net result of at least 950 million EUR (1 billion USD).

Dividends paid to shareholders would, however, remain equal to those of 2015, that is 4.75 EUR (5.1 USD) per share.
