Increase in the salaries of agents working in the insurance sector

On 26 April 2017, the Tunisian federation of insurance companies (FTUSA) and the Tunisian general labour union (UGTT) signed a wage agreement for the benefit of agents and executives in the insurance sector.

Both parties agreed on a 6.87% increase to be applied to the 2015 salary scale. The transportation allowance will also be reassessed.

The increase will cover two periods; the first being from 1 June 2016 to 31 May 2017 and the second from 1 June 2017 to 31 May 2018.

Almost 3 500 insurance executives and agents are affected by these wage increases.
