Insurers and reinsurers interested in the Indian market

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority in India, (IRDAI), announced having received license applications from three non-life insurers and two reinsurers intent on setting foot on the local market.

So far, India totals 24 insurance companies, eight reinsurers along with several insurers specialized in the health class of business.
