Marketing of a health insurance policy for fishermen and farmers

The Tunisian agriculture and fisheries union (UTAP) has joined hands with Amana Takaful for the establishment of an individual health plan for the benefit of Tunisian farmers and fishermen. The latter will now benefit from supplementary hospitalization insurance along with a welfare cover. The policy includes three levels of guarantees based on customers’ choice.

Today, only 10% of this business professionals have social coverage. The overall turnover of Amana Takaful amounted to 12.5 million TND (6.1 million USD) in 2015.
