Motor insurance, to a uniform third party liability policy

Mohammed Al Baker , Executive Director – Financial Institutions Supervision at the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB ) announces that the project of standardization of motor third party liability policies is in its final phase.

According to the director, the standardised terms should be available in a month. They should make it easier for the insured to understand this type of contract.

This project should normally be extended by the common work of Bahrain Insurance Association and the CBB, in order to standardize claims handling procedures involving motorists' third party liability.
