Natural catastrophe insurance could become mandatory in Tunisia

The Tunisian government will shortly present to the Parliament a new draft for the insurance code.

A major innovation, the draft introduces the obligation of natural catastrophe insurance to which companies will be subject.

Compensation of the insured would range between 25% and 60% of the insured capital.
