New Zealand tsunami warning and earthquake

On the night of November 12, 2016, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook New Zealand.

A few hours later, a second aftershock, of magnitude 6.2, hit the country triggering a tsunami warning, which was lifted later on.

Eventhough no material assessment has been made for the time being , local authorities have reported two human losses.
