One Re obtains an approval for the opening of a branch in Gabon

The regional commission of insurance supervision (CRCA) of the Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets (CIMA) has granted One Re an approval for the opening of a branch in Libreville (Gabon).

The agreement was issued during the 89th ordinary session of the CRCA, held from 23 to 28 October 2017 in Bamako (Mali).

Based in London, One Re is a reinsurer focused on Africa. It was created in 2012 by brothers Andrew and Robert Lewis.
