A panel of experts to help public transport companies

Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has brought together a panel of experts to discuss the difficulties encountered by public and private transport companies in purchasing a motor insurance policy.

Carriers who have not taken out any insurance choose to drive uncovered, thus exposing themselves to violations that are ever multiplying. Talks have been scheduled with the authorities in order to resolve this problem. In the meantime, the Committee has requested the suspension of the fines imposed on transport companies.
