Swiss Re is expecting higher insurance tariffs in 2018

According to Swiss Re's report "Global insurance review 2017" , non life insurance and reinsurance tariffs should increase at the next renewal.

The resurgence of large-scale natural disasters combined with the decline of prices recorded in recent years, should push insurers to increase their tariffs.

The report also forecasts a 3% increase in the overall premiums'volume of non life insurance during 2018 and 2019 Life insurance is expected to grow by 4%. Emerging markets in Asia will drive the global growth.
