Tunis Re completes capital increase

On June 5, 2015, Tunis Re finalized its capital increase which went from 75 million TND (39 million USD) to 100 million TND ( 52 million USD). This transaction comes under the 2012/2016 development plan of the Tunisian reinsurer.

As at 31/12/2014, the capital of Tunis Re was divided between Tunisian insurance companies (42%), legal entities and natural persons (30%), banks (23%) and the State (5%).

As a reminder, the company was established in 1981 with an initial capital of 2 million TND ⁽¹⁾ (3.35 million USD). It was listed on the stock exchange market in 2010.
