Tunis Re, results for the first quarter of 2017

Tunis Re has published its results ending 31 March 2017. The Tunisian reinsurer reported a 6% increase in its turnover, from 37.4 million TND (18.6 million USD) as at 31/03/2016 to 39.6 million TND (17.5 million USD) as at 31/03/2017.

The gross incurred losses decreased by nearly 46% going from 7.998 million TND (3.97 million USD) in the first quarter of 2016 to 4.34 million TND (1.9 million USD) during the same period of 2017.

The financial income amounted to 3.9 million TND (1.94 million USD) compared to 3.5 million TND (1.57 million USD) in 2017.
