The universal exhibition thoroughly insured

Exhibitors and participants of Expo 2010 Shanghai have been thoroughly insured for the 184 day-long event. The total premiums generated are estimated at 4.39 billion USD. Egypt has disbursed 66 million USD for its cover while France paid 14.6 million USD. In an effort to meet this high demand in insurance, 12 Chinese insurers have pooled up for the sake of this event as of 2008. People's Insurance Company of China detains 60%of this pool.
