VIG Re to open representative office in Singapore

VIG Re, the reinsurance subsidiary of Austria's Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), has received regulatory approval to establish a representative office in Singapore. The new office will be led by Wilfrid Goh.

The Singapore office will act as a liaison and coordination hub between VIG Re's headquarters and its partners across the Asia-Pacific region.

The expansion forms part of the reinsurer's VIGRe28 strategy, which aims to strengthen the company's international presence, with a particular focus on expanding its operations in the Asia-Pacific market.
