Towards the creation of a reinsurance company in the UAE

The insurance committee of the UAE conglomerate Al Habtoor Group, is studying the possibility of creating a reinsurance company in the Emirates, in partnership with local institutions.

It would be an international reinsurance company.

Founded in 1970 by Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Al Habtoor Group has a strong presence in the hotel, automobile, real estate, education, insurance and publishing sectors.
