AMI Assurances: premium increase as at 31/03/2023

AMI Assurances' turnover has reached 46.053 million TND (14.9 million USD) as at 31 March 2023, increasing by 17.2% compared to the 39.282 million TND (13.3 million USD) recorded in Q1 2022.

Non-life premiums have progressed by 4.3% to 37.513 million TND (12.1 million USD). The non-life activity is dominated by the motor and health classes of business which posted respective turnovers of 34.002 million TND (11 million USD) and 1.715 million TND (555 000 USD).

During the period under consideration, life underwritings amounted to 8.54 million TND (2.8 million USD), representing a 156.8% growth over one year. This significant improvement was mainly driven by the acceleration of the bancassurance activities.

The amount of settled claims has dropped by 19.9% to 18.676 million TND (6 million USD).

At 9.211 million TND (3 million USD), financial products have registered a 43.5% upswing.
