Mandarin Re, a Malaysian reinsurance company, has appointed Andrés Obando as Head of Underwriting.
Mr. Obando brings 18 years of industry experience, including nine years with Munich Re, where he held several leadership positions in Colombia.
He joined Mandarin Re in 2023 and has since progressed through a series of roles, serving as Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, and most recently Head of Underwriting for the Americas and Africa.
