AIG restructuring plan

The American insurer's recovery may take some time. The Wall Street Journal has indicated that the insurer and the American government are outlining a restructuring plan that should last several years. The project will be named “Project Destiny”. The group, which has already received 173.3 billion USD in bailout from the American government, has yet announced losses of 4.35 billion USD in the first quarter of 2009.
