Aunomous vehicles: French insurers can access data in the event of an accident

In the new mobility guidance act (LOM) adopted by the French National Assembly on 6 June 2019, an article relates particularly to autonomous vehicles.

Article 13 of the law stipulates that in the event of a claim, the insurers and the guarantee fund for the non life compulsory insurance (GGAO) may use the data recorded by the driverless vehicle to determine the accountability.
