Collaboration among anti-terrorism insurance pools

A recent agreement has resulted in the establishment of the International Forum of Terrorism Risk Re/Insurance Pools (IFTRIP), with François Vilnet, vice-president of the French anti-terrorism pool GAREAT becoming its president.

In total, there are seven insurance and reinsurance pools, collaborating within this entity. Pool Re has been at the origin of this initiative that has required two years of strenuous efforts before it came into fruition.
