  • Applicants should be holders of a Bachelor’s degree in insurance or a business related field or related field
  • They should have a Diploma in Insurance or its equivalent
  • They should have four (4) years working experience in Life underwriting gained in a reputable/ Insurance or Reinsurance Organization
  • Professional qualifications in Insurance will be an added advantage
• Job description :
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s strategy
  • Solicit and receive business offers from existing and potential clients, assessing such offers and making appropriate recommendations to the regional head
  • Carry out underwriting of life reassurance business
  • Carry out administration of claims resulting from such transactions
  • Support in the division debt collection programme process
  • Prepare reports for submission to the statutory bodies
  • Compile statistics and data information related to the division as required
  • Prepare retrocession accounts
  • Regularly make market visits to the Corporation partners, to search for new business, and maintain existing portfolio
  • Carry out training in the market as required and perform any other duties allocated by Management
