FANAF: the succession

FANAF is unquestionably the most successful insurance organisation in Africa. Its annual meetings have attracted all of the partners in the region as well as all the operators interested in insurance and reinsurance in this part of the world, no matter where they are.

In a word, FANAF, whose general secretariat is based in Dakar, has, throughout the years, become a professional organisation that matters in Africa.

This year, the mandate of the current President, André Bayala, comes to a close. His successor will be known at the end of the Bamako general assembly proceedings, from February 25 to 29, 2008, hence the importance of the meeting.

In the run up to this election, two insurance companies' leaders, Proassur and the Citoyenne from Cameroon, are bidding for the position of President of the organisation.

It has been two months since both candidates embarked on their electoral campaign. Intent statements, platform, arguments, lobbying, communication work, blog, interactive, every means for a loyal race has been utilized in order to mobilize and persuade the business representatives who make up the candidates' electorate.

Such a commitment can only benefit the business. May the winner be the best!
